The Oklahoma Food Cooperative Organizing Committee cordially invites you and your family to attend a "Celebration of Oklahoma Food: the Oklahoma Food Inaugural Banquet".
What's for dinner? Fine Oklahoma foods from the producer members of the group. There will be beef, pork, lamb, chicken, farm-raised venison, eggs, homemade breads, seasonal vegetables, and of course pumpkin pie made with REAL pumpkins. If you or your family are vegans or vegetarians, you will find good food to eat too.
The banquet is open to members and nonmembers, and will feature a variety of foods from the producer members of the Oklahoma Food Cooperative order delivery service. The price for members is $4, the price for non members is $8. Children under 12 are free. If the non-members join the service, $4 of their dinner ticket price may be applied towards the membership.
Many of the producer members will also have tables introducing you to their farms, their families, and their products. Some will have products you can buy that evening.
Each membership covers all members of a household, so a husband and wife and kids, for example, are all members and their tickets are thus at the member price. There is no charge for children under 12, and we strongly encourage you to bring your children because this is a family event.
