Clements Foods, 6601 N. Harvey, Oklahoma City, 73113, 50 year old, family owned, local food processor; the ingredients come from all over, but they get a Special Green Star for packaging their Garden Club brand of jams and jellies (no preservatives, artificial colorings or flavorings) in a drinking glass jar. No need to recycle, simply wash and then reuse forever as a drinking glass (my family has used them for over 50 years). Available retail in Oklahoma City at Homeland grocery stores.

They make the candy they sell, including peanut brittle, chocolate peanut clusters, English toffee, Aunt Bill's brown candy, traditional ribbon candy, various kinds of fudge, lemon ice, gourmet chocolate truffles. A family owned business dating back 75 years, their store is located in the same building as their candy kitchen. Many traditional techniques are used, including cooking peanut brittles in copper kettles, then the mixtures are cooled on stone slabs and packed by hand.
