September Market Survey
+ The September market survey researches potential WEEKLY demand for certain products IF the coop had a weekly order cycle.
+ We need information about the potential demand for products typically unavailable or in short supply to encourage more local production of fruits and vegetables and other food items.
+ Therefore, we ask members to respond to our September Market Survey. This is not a casual request. This information in its own way is as important and valuable to the cooperative as the funds raised from our Capital Campaign. This fall our farmers will make their production decisions for the 2008 growing season. This survey will influence the amount of vegetables we have for sale in 2008.
+ This will also help the coop management decide if we want to try a more frequent order schedule in 2008. One possibility being discussed is a series of regional orders. That is, we would still have our primary statewide once a month order, but during the other 3 weeks of the month, we would have "regional" orders, where customers in the Tulsa area would order from Tulsa area producers, customers in the OKC area would order from OKC area producers, customers in the Norman area would order from Norman area producers, and customers in the Tahlequah-Muskogee area would order from producers in that area.

+ Click on the link to Non-food Products -- Surveys.
+ The survey items are identified as "Product Surveys", such as "Egg Survey", "Cabbage Survey", Milk Survey, etc.
+ If the item is something you want to buy, click on the icon beside the survey text. If you would use more than one item (pounds, pints, gallons, etc.) go to your shopping cart and increase the amount. After you increase the amount, press the UPDATE button to save your change.
NB: It is very important that you guestimate how much you would use of the item so that we know the amount of the potential demand.
+ Please assume the "best case" in answering the survey, that is, estimate the most you would use, not the least. If you prefer organic, assume the items are organic or all natural.
+ We will use this information to encourage farmers to start producing these food items, or to increase their existing production, assuming there is market demand for these food items.
+ Answering these questions doesn't add anything to your bill, nor does it deliver any of those items this month. It is not a commitment to buy them in the future.
+ You can answer the survey even if you don't buy anything this month.
